Modern warehouses are dynamic and crowded environments. Pallets are moved, boxes fall on the floor, workers and forklifts travel through aisles. In such an environment, fixed-path robots (AGVs) constantly stop.
Our AMRs use advanced SLAM technology (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) to build and update maps on the fly. Unlike old-fashioned AGVs, our AMRs are completely autonomous.
If a box has fallen on the floor, a pallet is temporarily placed in an aisle, or someone suddenly steps in front of the robot – the robot calculates a new path in milliseconds and continues moving.
