Robodog – Intelligent Quadruped Robot for Inspection

Legged Mobility

Walks over stairs, rubble, slopes, and narrow spaces where wheeled robots cannot move easily.

Remote Inspection

Streams real-time video and sensor data through 4G, WiFi, or radio, keeping operators safe from dangerous areas.

Multi-Sensor Ready

Supports attachments like thermal cameras, gas sensors, radiation detectors, audio, and small cargo modules for different inspection tasks.

A Robot That Walks Like a Dog

Robodog is a four-legged walking robot designed for inspection and monitoring in environments that are too dangerous or inaccessible for wheeled robots or human workers. While wheeled robots get stuck on stairs, rubble, and uneven terrain, Robodog walks over them with ease. It climbs stairs, navigates steep slopes, and walks through narrow passages.

Built for Tough and Dangerous Environments

Advanced stability algorithms keep the robot balanced on slopes, stairs, and slippery surfaces. Robodog is equipped with 360° depth-sensing cameras and stereo cameras for full situational awareness. It builds a real-time map of its environment and avoids obstacles automatically. Robodog can operate in GPS-denied environments such as indoors, tunnels, and underground facilities.

Long Range and Real-Time Data

Battery life is 2 to 4 hours depending on usage. Robodog can be controlled remotely or set to autonomous mission mode. It streams real-time video and sensor data back to the operator. Communication options include 4G, WiFi, and long-range radio, allowing operation from a safe distance in hazardous environments.

What You Can Attach to Robodog

The top of Robodog has a mounting platform for various attachments:

· Gas detection sensor – Detect methane, CO, hydrogen sulfide, or other hazardous gases
· Thermal camera – Find overheating equipment or detect people in low visibility
· High-resolution RGB camera – Visual inspection with zoom capability
· Two-way audio – Communicate with people in remote or dangerous areas
· Radiation detector – Monitor nuclear or medical facilities
· Loudspeaker – Issue warnings or announcements
· Small cargo basket – Carry first aid kits, tools, or small supplies (up to 8 kg)

Where Can You Use Robodog?

This walking robot is perfect for dangerous and hard-to-reach places:

· Industrial plants – Inspect pipes, tanks, valves, and elevated structures
· Hazardous environments – Chemical leaks, gas leaks, radiation zones
· Power substations – Monitor equipment and detect overheating
· Construction sites – Survey hard-to-reach areas and document progress
· Search and rescue – Pre-survey collapsed buildings or disaster zones
· Security patrol – Monitor complex facilities with stairs and obstacles
· Tunnels and confined spaces – Inspect areas too small or dangerous for humans

Key Specifications (Unitree Go2 Pro):

· Payload capacity: Up to 8 kg (on back)
· Robot weight: Approximately 15 kg
· Maximum speed: 2.5 m/s (9 km/h)
· Battery life: 2-4 hours (swappable battery)
· Stair climbing: Yes (up to 15 cm step height)
· Slope capability: Up to 40 degrees
· Sensors: 360° LiDAR + stereo depth cameras + GPS
· Communication: 4G / WiFi / Radio

Why Choose Robodog?

Robodog goes where wheels cannot go. It climbs stairs, walks over rubble, and navigates tight spaces where wheeled robots get stuck. It operates in GPS-denied environments such as indoors and tunnels. You can control it remotely or set it to autonomous mission mode. With real-time video and data streaming, and multiple sensor attachments, one Robodog can handle many different inspection jobs while keeping human workers out of dangerous areas.
